St. Paul's D-I title hopes fall short at hands of Scotlandville

(WVUE) - St. Paul's came into Saturday's Division I Championship game looking for its first-ever state championship, but Scotlandville had other ideas, downing the Wolves 63-40 to claim its fifth state championship in the last seven years.

LSU signee Ja'Vonte Smart led the Hornets (28-5) with 22 points.

The Wolves (29-7) were led by Parker Edwards who had 10 points.
