Southeastern Louisiana was riding a nine-game win streak into Saturday's Southland Conference Championship game against Stephen F. Austin but the Lions came up short, falling 59-55, dashing their hopes of an NCAA Tournament bid.

The Lions (22-11) were led by Joshua Filmore who scored 14 points.

TJ Holyfield led the Lumberjacks (28-6) with 13 points.

SFA moves on to the NCAA Tournament while Southeastern, who won the Southland Conference Regular Season Title, will get a bid in the NIT Tournament.
