Anthony Davis posts triple-double but Pelicans fall to Jazz at home

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Pelicans went into Sunday's game against the Jazz looking to rebound following Friday's loss against the Wizards, but they couldn't generate enough offense, falling 116-99.

Anthony Davis led the Pelicans (38-28) by posting a triple-double with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks. Davis's 10 blocks is a new career high. He also went 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Jrue Holiday recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists.

The Jazz (37-30) were led by Ricky Rubio who tallied a game-high 30 points to go along with 10 rebounds.

The Pelicans return to action Tuesday at 7 p.m. as they welcome in the Charlotte Hornets.
