The Pelicans delivered again on the road, beating the Blazers, 111-102. The win gives the Pels a 2-0 series lead. Jrue Holiday scored a career playoff-high 33 points.

"Playoff Jrue I guess, he's in a different mode. Jrue did it for us tonight. It was a big one for us," said Anthony Davis to Fox Sports New Orleans.

Davis contributed to the "W" with 22 points and 13 rebounds.

The Blazers had no answer for Holiday in the contest. Holiday was unstoppable all game, starting with 12 points in the first frame.

A lot of the prognosticators picked the Blazers to win this series, which is just fine to Davis.

"We love being the underdogs, they want to sleep on us, let them sleep."

Rajon Rondo almost recorded a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists. Niko Mirotic chipped in 17 points for New Orleans.

The Pelicans host the Blazers Thursday night. Game three tips at 8 p.m. at the Smoothie King Center.
