(WVUE) -

The Saints will play five primetime games in 2018. Last season, the Saints only played two games in primetime.

New Orleans will open the 2018 campaign at home against the Bucs at 12 p.m. The Black and Gold visit Tampa in Week 15.

The Saints are on Monday night twice. October 8th at Washington, and December 17th at Carolina.

One Sunday night matchup with Minnesota on October 28th.

The Saints will host the Falcons on Thanksgiving night. Jeff Duncan of Nola.com/Times Picayune noted the Falcons-Saints game on Thanksgiving night will mark the 10th time in the past 12 years that at least one game in the annual series has been broadcast on national TV in prime time.

The very next Thursday, New Orleans will travel to Dallas for a 7:20 p.m. kickoff on FOX 8. The Cowboys also play on Thanksgiving, so both teams will play back-to-back Thursdays.

SEC Media Days means a lot of football talk, but nothing in terms of actual football on the field. The Tigers have seen where they stand on paper, but they're anxious to prove everyone wrong once the season starts.
