NOE Boost Mobile robbed at gunpoint; NOPD releases photos

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Officers in the Seventh District are asking for the public's help in locating and identifying a male seen committing an armed robbery at a local mobile store.

The incident happened April 17 at around 7:43 p.m. Police said the suspect entered the Boost Mobile store in the 7000 block of Read Boulevard and produced a black semiautomatic firearm with an extended magazine. He then demanded money from the register. After the robbery, he was seen fleeing the scene in the white Ford Expedition.

The suspect is described as being a black male between the ages of 17 to 22 years old with a clean shave, brown complexion and thin build.
