VIDEO: Man points gun inches from cashier's face during armed robbery

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Two unknown suspects were captured on surveillance video robbing a convenience store in Glenwood last week, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

According to the report, the suspects entered a business located in the 2700 block of Broad Street at or around 10:42 p.m.

The first suspect approached the counter and displayed a stainless steel revolver. The second subject stood by the entrance to the business and held the door open while the first subject was inside of the store.

According to the report, the first subject placed a blue back pack on the counter and demanded the cashier to remove the money from both cash registers.

The victim complied and handed the cash to the suspect.

According to the report, the suspect stole $900 in cash during this incident.

Both suspects fled the scene on foot.

The subject with the gun was seen wearing a black jacket, black gloves, black pants and a white t-shirt over his head.

The suspect that stayed at the entry of the business was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
