NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating a double shooting involving two teens that occurred Friday night in New Orleans East.
The incident happened at about 8:45 in the 8800 block of Gervais Street.
Police said the victims are two 16-year-old males. One was shot in the leg; the other was shot multiple times in the leg and arm.
No additional information was available.
The shooting incident in the East was one of at least three Friday. The first was reported just after 1:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Touro Street, where a juvenile was shot in the leg. The second was reported just before 3 p.m. at Loyola and Second, where a male sustained a graze wound.
The shootings were in addition to a discovery at about 3:15 p.m. of the burned body of an adult male in the Lower Ninth Ward at Forstall and N. Johnson streets.
