NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Kevin Durant and the visiting Golden State Warriors got off to a fast start and despite narrowing the lead to four late in the first half, the Pelicans struggled to get consistent shots, ultimately falling in Sunday's Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals, 118-92.
Anthony Davis led the Pelicans (48-34) with 26 points and 12 rebounds. E'Twaun Moore had 20 points while Jrue Holiday poured in 19.
The Warriors (58-24) were led by Durant, who finished with a game-high 38 points.
One more loss for the Pelicans would eliminate them from playoff contention. Game 5 is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. central, Tuesday.
