NOPD searching for man wanted in connection to assault in Little Woods

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault and simple battery in Little Woods.

On Monday around 6:52 p.m. Jeremiah Warren got into a verbal confrontation with the victim regarding paying the bills at their residence in the 11000 block of Curran Boulevard, according to NOPD.

A physical altercation ensued on the front lawn of the residence, and after the fight was over Warren left the location.

About 15 minutes later Warren returned to the residence and the victim was still waiting outside, according to the report.

Upon seeing Warren return the victim re-entered the residence and Warren followed. Police said Warren then pointed a black revolver at the victim’s face and demanded he leave the residence.

The victim exited the residence and called police.

Warren then fled the location on foot.

Warren is wanted for aggravated assault and simple battery.
