Bounce baby, twerk: Big Freedia gives lessons to volunteers

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Freddie Ross, better known as bounce musician Big Freedia, treated some volunteers to quite a lunch on Friday.

Women were building a house in the 1500 block of Egania St. as part of New Orleans Habitat for Humanity's Women Build, in which more than 500 New Orleans women work together throughout the month of May to help two local women become homeowners.

During the lunch break, Big Freedia gave them a lesson on twerking. Twerking, for the uninitiated, involves moving one's posterior up and down in a range of different degrees and speeds.
