NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Tulane Police Department along with The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an off-campus sexual battery incident.
The incident happened Monday around 7:35 p.m. in the 100 block of South Saratoga.
According to the report, the victim was walking in the direction of Canal Street on South Saratoga when she passed the suspect who was walking in the opposite direction.
As the two crossed paths the suspect reached up and grabbed the victim on her right breast, according to the report.
The victim told police that after he grabbed her the suspect laughed and fled along South Saratoga in the direction of Cleveland towards Elks Place.
TUPD and NOPD officers responded to the area but were unable to locate a suspect matching the description provided by the victim, according to the report.
The victim described the suspect as a 40-year-old 6 foot tall male wearing a white shirt, black shorts and white shoes.
