JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Jefferson Parish is demanding all four officers involved in the death of an arrested man be charged with murder.
The parish's coroner announced Monday that preliminary findings of an autopsy on 22-year-old Keevan Robinson show that his death was homicide by asphyxiation.
Robinson was involved in a police chase on Thursday and died at a hospital while in custody. He was a suspect in a narcotics investigation.
The sheriff's office has not commented on the NAACP's request.
