NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The mayor expects the Sewerage and Water Board's Board of Directors to come up with names for who should serve as acting director by Friday.

According to our partners at NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, Interim Executive Director, Marcie Edwards leaves the position on Tuesday.

Edwards stepped in after Cedric Grant was ousted last summer.

Grant was among the officials forced to resign after they failed to reveal the true state of the city's drainage system before the August flooding.
