Man sought for attempted murder in NOE

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department has obtained an arrest warrant for a man accused of an attempted murder on Eunice Drive.

Saba Sabue Butler is sought in connection with a shooting that happened Wednesday in the 4700 block of Eunice Drive.

At about 11:25 p.m., Butler is believed to have been involved in a domestic altercation with the victim at a residence in the area, according to police.

According to the report, during the altercation, Butler allegedly produced a handgun and fired it multiple times, striking the victim multiple times.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where they are currently listed in critical condition, according to NOPD.

Butler is described as standing about 5'6" and weighing about 160 pounds with black hair. He is believed to be driving a light brown/tan 2012 Chevrolet Silverado truck bearing Louisiana license plate # B944510, according to the report.

When located, Bulter will be arrested for attempted murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated criminal damage to property, simple robbery and domestic battery, NOPD said.
