(WVUE) - LSU reportedly has a new signal caller. According to Tom Groeschen of the Cincinnati Enquirer, former Ohio State quarterback Joe Burrow has chosen LSU over Cincinnati.
Burrow visited Baton Rouge last weekend and was reportedly down to the Tigers or the Bearcats. He'll compete with Myles Brennan, Justin McMillan and Lowell Narcisse for the starting job. Neither Brennan, McMillan nor Narcisse separated themselves in the competition during spring.
Burrow was in line to replace current Saints quarterback J.T. Barrett at Ohio State but was beaten out by Dwayne Hawkins. He has two years left of eligibility and can play right away. For his career in limited action , Burrow is 29-of-39 for 287 yards with two touchdowns.
