NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Officials with Bayou Boogaloo have announced that the festival will resume Saturday at 11 a.m.

Organizers and vendors were forced to shut down the festival Friday after heavy rains and strong winds moved through the area causing many of the festival's tents to be knocked over.

The festival will resume with four stages as well as food and craft vendors.
