MARRERO, LA (WVUE) -

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office has released new details in a triple homicide in Marrero Friday night.

Sheriff Joseph Lopinto says the triple shooting was reported at approximately 9:14 p.m. in the 7800 block of Barataria Boulevard.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found two females and one male dead at the scene.

According to witnesses, 43-year-old Melissa Baous and her boyfriend 44-year-old Christopher Pike went to the home to resolve a minor property dispute when the situation escalated. Pike pulled out a gun and shot Baous and another woman, 44-year-old Tonia Billiot Dardar.

Dardar’s husband later returned home and exchanged gunfire with Pike wounding him.

Pike, Baous and Dardar were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Jospeh Dardar, the husband of Tonia Billiot Dardar, spoke with investigators who proved that his accounts of the incident were consistent with the investigation and the evidence collected.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
