NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans Police are asking for the public's help locating two suspects they believe was involved in a shooting in the French Quarter early Saturday morning.
The shooting that left two people injured happened around 2:15 p.m. in the 800 block of Toulouse Street.
According to investigators, two groups of people got into an altercation at a bar on Bourbon Street before relocating to the location of the shooting. As the groups were walking away from each other, one person allegedly opened fire on the other group which then allegedly retaliated. A man and a woman were injured in the shooting. Both are listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
Detectives believe Real Time Crime camera footage captured images of the two suspects involved in the incident. One suspect is seen wearing a camouflage jacket, shorts and black shoes. The second suspect was last seen wearing a plain white ball cap, a black graphic t-shirt, black jogging pants and white tennis shoes.
Additional camera footage also captured what detectives believe is a vehicle that fled the scene. The vehicle is believed to be a white newer model Kia Soul. The vehicle had no license plate at the time of the incident.
