The Pelicans got some league-wide recognition Wednesday as Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday were named to the All-Defensive First Team, a first for both players.

Davis has been second team twice before. This season, he averaged 2.6 blocks and 1.5 steals per game. Holiday had the same steals mark and led New Orleans to a 103.2 defensive rating during his time on the floor, nine points better than when he was off the floor.

It's the first time in franchise history that teammates have made the first team together. Davis still has some hardware to hope for as he's a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year and MVP.
