The early summer pattern will continue for rest of the work week. Expect warm temperatures with highs in the upper 80s to near 90. We will see a mix of sun and clouds with scattered storms beginning in late morning and last through the afternoon hours. Overnight, lows will only fall to the 70s on both sides of the Lake.
An area of disturbed weather in the Caribbean will enter the Gulf of Mexico by Friday. There is a high chance that it develops into a tropical depression or weak tropical storm. Regardless, the system will slowly drift north for the first part of the weekend in the general direction of the Gulf Coast. Heavy rain will be the primary impact, but it is too early to see who will bear the brunt of the tropical moisture. Anywhere from Southeast Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle could have to deal with heavy rains Sunday and into the early part of next week.
