NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A man was struck with a gun and robbed by four men near Tulane Medical Center Saturday night, according to New Orleans Police.
According to the victim, he was walking near the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and South Saratoga Street just after 10:30 p.m. when four unknown black males walked up behind him. Two of the suspects got in front of the victim, pointed their guns at him and demanded his money. One of the men struck the victim with the gun before fleeing the scene in the victim's vehicle.
The vehicle was last seen traveling on South Saratoga St. and then in an unknown direction.
Police say the victim was able to flag down an Orleans Parish Sheriff's Deputy who alerted police.
