NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Mayor Latoya Cantrell wants to find a company to redevelop the abandoned Six Flags site in New Orleans East, according to a report by our partners NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.

The industrial development board gave her administration a year to find a company.

The city is in charge of the redevelopment of the 227 acre abandoned amusement park site.

Mayor Landrieu also had an agreement to develop the site, but nothing was done.
