The tropical disturbance we've tracked through the week is continuing to push towards the Texas Coast. We are on the edge of the moisture being drawn north. That's kept our rain chances a bit higher, but we can expect to see that trend changing as the Gulf system pushes into the Texas coast and high pressure builds back in from the east.
Rain tapers off by late this evening and we can expect the rest of the week to return to more normal daily rain chances. That means 30% to 40% of the area to receive rain each day. Otherwise, we will be hot and partly sunny. Highs will reach the low to mid 90s.
