Man robbed twice in French Quarter, NOPD says

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A man was robbed twice in the French Quarter Monday morning, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Around 3:30 a.m. a man was walking on Bourbon Street when two unidentified men struck him in the face and stole his cell phone, according to the report.

Police say the victim then got into a car thinking it was an Uber when the driver of the vehicle robbed him of his wallet.

According to NOPD Public Information Officer Aaron Looney, the incidents were two separate attacks.
