TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - A man wanted in Houma for attempted murder was a fugitive wanted by Georgia authorities, according to Houma Police.

Jawon Mosley, 20-year-old was wanted in connection with an attempted murder back in May in Houma. He was taken into custody in the 200 block of Stovall Street.

Essence Rockward was also taken into custody at the residence for multiple drug charges.

According to police, both were arrested around 3 a.m. Monday.

Mosley was also wanted on a murder in Georgia, according to police.

Throughout the investigation, police learned Mosley was also wanted out of Terrebonne Parish in connection to a shooting.

Mosely was taken to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex for booking.
