NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

A former Zulu president accused of sexual harassment was in court Friday.

Former Zulu employee Gemell Hulbert is suing Namaan Stewart in Orleans Parish Civil Court. Hulbert says Stewart refused to let her leave a bathroom in 2015 until she showed her breasts and had sex with him.

In new court filings, Hulbert says other Zulu members tried to intimidate her not to report Stewart's conduct and even offered her money to stay quiet.

Stewart's attorney James Williams had no comment as he left court Friday.

"I filed a motion for continuance because I was in a murder trial in Jefferson Parish. I filed it two weeks ago. It was timely filed and it was granted today," said Hulbert's attorney, Lena Hinton.

Both parties will be back in court next Friday afternoon for another hearing.
