Officials at the National Hurricane Center say they're making their tropical storm advisories easier to read.

The Army Corps of Engineers is spending about $11 million in stimulus money on dikes along the Calcasieu River, navigation floodgates in Lafourche Parish and on the Morganza to the Gulf levee project.

The season's 8th named storm formed quickly Tuesday afternoon and the National Hurricane Center is saying Tropical Storm Henri will be short lived.

The delegation's main focus is to talk hurricane protection with congressional and federal officials.
