NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -A man accused of killing a Metairie tow truck driver is no longer under house arrest.
Wayne Higgins is accused of killing Big Lee Martin after an altercation in his driveway.
According to our partners NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, a judge granted the request from 78-year-old Wayne Higgins asking to be released from the program while he is out on bond awaiting trial.
Higgins is charged with second-degree murder.
Deputies said he shot Big Lee on May 5th.
The sheriff’s office said the two neighbors were in a long running feud.
