NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -Better late than never, Lil Wayne drops his new long anticipated album, Tha Carter V.

The rapper dropped it Friday at midnight - just after his 36th birthday.

Tha Carter V features 23 songs, many of which are collaborations with artists like Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, and Travis Scott.

Wayne’s own daughter, Reginae Carter, even makes an appearance on the chorus of “Famous,” while Weezy rhymes about becoming a stranger to himself over the years.

The project was delayed for four years after a long dispute with Cash Money boss, Birdman. But, now the wait is over and the reviews are pouring in.

Fans took to social media declaring Wayne “The Goat” (greatest of all time) while sharing their favorite tracks. Fellow rappers have even tweeted their support . Drake posted a picture with the caption, “C5 OUT NOW...happy birthday broski love forever.”

Fans were hit with all kinds of good news on the rapper’s birthday. The ACL Fest in Austin, Texas made an announcement of their own adding the New Orleans native to the lineup.

“We’re celebrating Lil Wayne’s birthday today in the best way possible. We’re adding him to the Saturday, Weekend 2 #ACLFest Lineup!” Tickets are on sale now!

Childish Gambino was scheduled to perform at the ACL Fest, but after suffering a foot injury, Lil' Wayne will step in his place.
