NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -A cool northwesterly breeze will keep temperatures in the 50s and 60s throughout the day. Any clouds still lingering across the area will clear with pure sunshine expected by this afternoon. Saturday morning will start chilly with lows in the 40s in most areas. The south shore and coastal areas will only dip to the low 50s.
This weekend will be dry, but we will see temperatures and cloud cover increase on Sunday. There is some threat of rain Sunday evening, but chances look low at this time.
There is a chance for more stormy activity early next week as another front approaches the area.
