NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -St. Charles Parish deputies arrested two men in connection to a shooting in Boutte Thursday night.

According to deputies, the shooting happened around 10:00 p.m. in the 100 block of South Kinler Street.

Deputies said they found a 26-year-old man shot. He was transferred to an area hospital for treatment, and his condition is unknown.

The suspects, Terron Ingram and and Stanley Robinson, were arrested. Ingram faces one count of obstruction of justice.

Robinson faces one count of aggravated second degree battery and one count of felony carrying an illegal weapon, according to the report.

According to Sheriff Greg Champagne, the victim and Robinson got into an altercation when. Robinson shot the victim. Ingram is accused of attempting to hide the firearm, according to the report.
