Tulane Football announces season to start on a Thursday vs. FIU

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Tulane will kickoff it’s 2019 season on Thursday, August 29 against Florida International at 7 p.m.

This will mark the second straight year Tulane opens at home on a Thursday night. Last season, they lost at Yulman Stadium against Wake Forest.

The Wave will enter 2019 with high expectations after ending last season with seven wins. Tulane ended the campaign with a 41-24 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette in the Cure Bowl.

Tulane quarterback Justin McMillan will return for his senior season Uptown, and is considered the starter by head coach Willie Fritz.
