NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - It was anything but a typical day at the office for so many in downtown New Orleans.
“We should be proud either way because they did what they were supposed to do, so when we get in the dome, the fans are going to do what they are supposed to do. We are winning this. They are going all the way to Atlanta,” says a Saints fan.
“It’s an awesome atmosphere. Basically, everybody’s here for one common goal which is to cheer the Saints on. You either go big or go home, and we ain’t going home,” says Tony Dow.
In a sea of Who Dats at the Hancock Whitney Saints pep rally, we found an Eagles fan.
When asked why he would come to a pep rally for Saints, he said, “We are the Superbowl champions. We have respect for the Saints, but to beat the champs, you’ve got to beat the champs.”
A Saints pep rally wouldn’t be complete without the Choppa Style.
“Just to see the new creation of the dance, that’s amazing. I’m just glad they’re having a good time to something I created,” says Choppa.
Choppa says he’s ready for a win.
“I’m excited. I’m just looking forward to seeing a lot of feathers on the field. Our team, the momentum is growing so strong. We got the best fans in the world,” says Choppa.
Super fan, Whistle Monster, wants to remind Who Dats in the dome on Sunday, they have a job to do too.
“Sometimes the Saints side get a little soft. I’m calling them out. They shouldn’t be sitting down at any time,” says Leroy Mitchell.
