NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - After a gloomy start to Saturday with lots of clouds and rain early, things started to improve and we even got a little sun in before the end of the day. Wrap around clouds will keep skies a bit grey for Sunday as we see the upper low that’s pushing the cold air in slowly move east, but we will be dry. It will also be breezy and cooler for Saints' tailgating and all your Sunday outdoor activities. Temperatures will start out cold in the 40s both sides of the lake, but it will be a struggle to warm up much through the afternoon. It will feel like the 40s all day even though thermometers may read in the low 50s. Chilly weather sticks around with the high overhead through mid-week.
