Patchy fog is possible through around 10 AM, then mostly cloudy skies are expected. Highs will be about 10 degrees above average today in the low 70s. Temperatures will stay mild overnight ahead of a strong cold front arriving tomorrow morning.
This front will spark up showers and a few storms Saturday morning. A few storms may bring strong winds and an isolated severe storm can’t be ruled out.
It will turn windy and colder behind the front by Saturday evening. While it will be dry on Sunday, it will be windy and cold with highs in the 40s. Winds could gust over 30 mph at times and the wind chill will be in the 30s for Saints tailgating.
Sunday night, temperatures will drop to the upper 20s north and away from the Lake and upper 30s on the south shore. A fast warm-up will take place early next week with another cool down expected by mid-week.
