NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Former LSU coach Les Miles will make his return to the college football field in Kansas later this year.

But, Friday, he’ll make his debut as a dramatic actor in “The Challenger Disaster.”

The movie is available on Apple iTunes. Watch the trailer here:

The movie’s description reads: The night before the Challenger disaster in 1986, a hot-headed engineer leads a desperate race against the clock to stop the launch and the subsequent cover up.

Miles plays a NASA engineer in the movie, but he doesn’t play the “hot-headed” one.

The Kansas head football coach also has roles coming up in “The Last Whistle” and “Daisy and Smiling Jack,” according to his IMDB page.
