NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Pointing out what went wrong in the NFC Championship game is easy. Fixing the issue is less clear - especially with a no call at the center of the debate. Drew Brees admitted as much Friday.

“First of all there’s no way to fix what happened, right?” Brees explained. “I think what it did was it just brought to light the fact where there could be a situation where a call like that determines a game in a very critical situation.”

But Brees had some suggestions to make sure what happened to his team never happens to another team again.

“How do you review penalties? I’d ask that question," Brees said. “Maybe there’s a couple you designate as being reviewable. Maybe you give an opportunity for the team to do it once during the course of a game. Maybe all those calls go up in a booth within two minutes just like they do for all reviews. So it sounds like there’s a lot of possibilities. It’s just a matter of narrowing that down and find what the best solution is, but I imagine there will be some sort of solution.”
