NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - With 2019 National Signing Day in the books, it’s now time to focus on the future for LSU, the 2020 recruiting class.

Right now, the Tigers are looking primed for another blockbuster class like 2019, in which LSU finished No. 3 by Rivals.

LSU already owns three verbal commitments within the top 10 prospects in Louisiana. U-High DT Jaquelin Roy, Ponchatoula QB TJ Finley, and Westgate WR Kayshon Boutte are all top 10 prospects.

They also possess a commitment from the top cornerback in the country, five-star recruit Elias Ricks out of California.

Ed Orgeron also has the inside track on landing the No. 1 prospect in the state, Alexandria DT Jacobian Guillory. The top running back from “The Boot,” Easton RB Ashaad Clayton, also has the Tigers high on his list.

LSU has nine verbal commitments for 2020. Two quarterbacks, three wide receivers, two defensive tackles, an offensive lineman, and a cornerback.
