After a chilly start, a cool and sunny day is on tap across the area. Highs will reach the upper 50s on the south shore and low 60s most everywhere else. The cooler conditions are only temporary because another surge of spring-like warmth will be back by Thursday.
Dry skies are expected through the end of the week. The weekend looks very mild and mostly dry with only a stray shower late Sunday.
Another weak cold front will arrive late Sunday. Monday will be cooler with some showers around. However, a strong warm front will surge into the area by next Tuesday bringing back more spring-like conditions.
