NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Temperatures will return to above-normal on Thursday, and this will last into the weekend. Highs will be well into the 70s with little to no rain.
The forecast is tricky because we are sandwiched between a strong area of warm high pressure over Florida and a very cold area of low pressure over the Western United States. It’s basically a battle zone in between.
Next week a cold front will attempt to move into the area on Monday and again by the middle of next week. Expect the potential for large temperature swings. The forecast will change quite a bit over the next few days for next week as long as this pattern remains.
