NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Tulane hung tight with Tulsa until the final minutes of the first half Thursday night before the Golden Hurricanes ran away en route to a 80-57 win.

A pair of Samir Sehic free throws tied the contest at 21 with four and a half minutes left in the first half but Tulsa went on a 13-3 run to finish the first half. Caleb Daniels led the Wave with 13 points while Jordan Cornish and Conor Crabtree also reached double digit scoring.

Mike Dunleavy’s team falls to 4-19 overall, 0-11 in the American Athletic Conference. The search for a first conference win won’t get any easier Sunday as #9 Houston comes to town fresh off a win over UConn.
