NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -A cool front moved into the area late last night. Cooler air arrives but clouds will stick around. Highs will be in the mid 50s most of the day. There may be stray sprinkles around, but a mostly dry day is expected.
Tuesday will also have some spotty rain, but we’ll be dry most of the day. Highs will climb into the upper 60s in the afternoon. The warm-up continues into the middle of the week with a surge in rain and storm chances. As a frontal boundary lingers near the area, we can expect rain Wednesday through Saturday. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s to near 80.
Rain chances will be 30-40% this weekend with our next front looking to arrive Sunday.
