NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Dept. is searching for a subject wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the Fifth District.

Police say the robbery happened Feb 10 just after 9 p.m. in the 2500 block of St. Claude Avenue.

The suspect allegedly approached the victim from behind and pushed him inside a vehicle. The suspect reportedly put a gun into the victim’s back and demanded cash. The suspect then fled south on Music Street.

He is described as an unknown black male with a medium build, standing between five feet 10 and six feet one inch tall. He has a light/medium complexion and was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black knit cap, dark colored pants, and black and white tennis shoes.
