NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -"Finally."
That’s what Saints punter Thomas Morstead captioned his selfie with a sought-after Mardi Gras throw.
Morstead caught a yellow penalty flag throw, symbolizing the no-call that fans believe cost The Saints a shot at the Super Bowl.
The City of New Orleans did not take the loss to the Los Angeles Rams lightly.
A “boycott bowl” was held in the Central Business District on Super Bowl Sunday. Ratings for the game plummeted.
