Accident closes Hwy. 90 in Avondale

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Drivers should plan extra time for the commute through Avondale.
Highway 90 is shut down in both directions at Lapalco Boulevard due to an accident. Limited details are known at this time but drivers should plan for a detour in the area.
For an alternate, detour to S. Jamie Boulevard to Nicolle Boulevard back to Lapalco Boulevard.
