NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - After a perfect Easter weekend with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures, the nice Spring conditions will hold on through Tuesday.
High pressure is moving across the region so we will see the dry air mass moderating a bit as we move from the calm center to the southerly flow on the back side of the system.
Expect moderate changes with slightly warmer conditions and a few more clouds.
Temperatures will remain seasonable with low 60s overnight and near 80 during the day. We will stay dry through Wednesday. Expect some high clouds to move by, but we will remain dry
Thursday is the next best chance for rain as our next storm system approaches from the west. The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival kicks off Thursday with rain likely into the afternoon and evening.
A few spotty showers could be around Friday, but then dry and nice into Saturday and Sunday.
