Cleveland Browns get Greedy: select CB Greedy Williams in 2nd round

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - With their second round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select CB Greedy Williams.

The Browns moved up three spots to take the cornerback from LSU.

In a trade with the Colts, the Browns exchanged second round picks and gave up a fifth round pick (144).

Some draft experts considered Williams to be the best cornerback in the draft, but was the seventh CB taken.

He had eight interceptions in two seasons with LSU.
