NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Entergy officials will explain an outage at a drainage pump during last weekend’s heavy downpours.

Entergy New Orleans representatives will go before the city’s Utilities Committee Wednesday morning at 11:30.

The Sewerage and Water Board says the drainage system still had plenty of turbine power, despite the loss of that one pump.

Entergy will also present details of their efforts to prepare for hurricane season, which starts June 1.
