The Rolling Stones add New Orleans to ‘No Filter’ tour

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE) - The Rolling Stones are coming to New Orleans!

Yes, for real this time!

The announcement was made Thursday morning that New Orleans is one of the stops on the band’s 2019 ‘No Filter’ North American tour.

This performance comes after The Rolling Stones canceled their scheduled performance at this year’s Jazz Fest. Mick Jagger underwent heart surgery and had been advised not to tour by his doctor.

The tour will also include all the cities from the previous postponed tour.

The newly added New Orleans date at Mercedes-Benz Superdome is scheduled for July 14, 2019.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 31 at 10 a.m.

American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Wednesday, May 29 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, May 30 at 10 p.m.

Stones No Filter will now kick off in Chicago with two shows on June 21 and June 25, then head for Burl’s Creek, ON on June 29 followed by dates in Washington DC, Foxboro, East Rutherford, Philadelphia, Houston, Jacksonville, the new show in New Orleans, Denver, Seattle, Santa Clara, Pasadena, Glendale and rounding up in Miami on August 31, 2019.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood can’t wait to get back out on the road again bringing the ‘No Filter’ show for the very first time to American and Canadian fans. There will be classic hits such as ‘Sympathy For The Devil’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘Miss You’, ‘It’s Only Rock N Roll’, as well as some special gems from their celebrated history.
